For that one has to look for dog training programs and buy the toys recommended in a program. First, one should know what breed of dog he or she has and what this breed of dogs is good for. Knowing these facts one has to shopping and buy either hunting dog training toys, like bird dog training toys or tug of war toys or something else the chosen training program advices.

Some shops advertise that "a dog can never have too many toys!" that may be cool for a dog, but not for a dog’s master as it is very important that a dog to be aware that a certain toy is for a particular reason. This helps to discipline the dog and makes one's dog training more successful. As it was said above dog training toys are manufactured for certain kind of trainings, but there are kinds of toys that are for dog's entertainment or the like; thus, puzzle dog toys are fond by some active doggies and especially those toys that may produce some sounds.

However, the best use of dog's toys may be in combination with training only. For example, any tug of war toy may be used in, at least, two ways like a training inventory item as well as a reward used after some exercises.
